Gateway Solar Alliance Projects

Manalapan
Village at Manalapan, Manalapan, NJ – Spano’s first self-developed solar project, this 3.6 MW plant is known as the Manalapan Facility and was completed in 2013, at the time one of the largest ground mount systems in NJ. It is owned and operated by NJRCEV, a New Jersey utility, on a previously under-utilized 12-acre site leased by an affiliate company of Spano Partners.

Thorne Middle School
Thorne Middle School is one of sixteen schools in the Middletown Township School systems. It is 348.45KW. The Middletown BOE was looking to cut electric costs for the entire school system. Spano won the competitive bid for an RFP consisting 3765.84KW. They are all roof mounted systems. The project team was Spano Partners as the developer and Advanced Solar Products was the EPC. Spano Partners and ASP jointly own these and many other systems together.

North Park Ground Mount
North Park, Millstone Township, NJ – NorthPark Solar is a 12.4 MW two-phased utility-scale solar project developed by Spano Solar Enterprises, a wholly owned subsidiary of Spano Partners Holding, LLC. Completed in January, 2015 and owned by a Gateway member True Green Capital with the property leased from Spano Partners. It is located in Millstone Township on a site previously developed for an industrial park. As a result of this solar installation, rather than drawing a significant power load to power an industrial park, it will provide clean renewable green energy to the community during peak load times, further reducing the community’s peak demand charges.

Pep Boys
Pep Boys, Chester, NY – Spano Partners developed this 2 MW rooftop solar installation at Pep Boy’s distribution center. Designed by Advanced Solar Products, it required complete replacement of a 400,000 square foot roof. The Pep Boys project, completed in 2016, supplies 90% of the power to the distribution center. It is also owned by Gateway member True Green Capital

The Marlton Middle School is part of the Evesham Township School system. It was one site of four completed as required by the Evesham Township BOE for their renewable energy program. Spano Partners was the developer. Spano entered into a 15 year PPA with the BOE for a significant savings on their electrical usage. Advanced Solar Products was the EPC with a system size of 1,304.2 KW. Spano Partners and Advanced Solar Products co own this system.

Millhurst Ground Mount
